We have never accepted commission or referral fees from the conveyancing firms we work with, and we will not do so. We choose firms we know and trust, matching your move around lender requirements, transaction experience and availability.
Our own file-opening fee pays for the practical setup work we do for you. It is shown separately from the legal fee in your itemised quote.
Compare our packages with the legal fee, applicable VAT and listed additional costs clearly separated. The legal fee is fixed for the work in your quotation; your property and any additional work determine the final scope.

Our solicitor firms hold the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation. Licensed conveyancer firms are regulated separately by the CLC.

Protection provides replacement services or carried-forward payments, rather than a refund of every cost. Search Fee Guarantee protection runs for six months from the original order; Lifetime File Transfer covers qualifying file-opening transfers for up to 14 years from initial instruction.
