The example’s file-opening and standard search charges combined. If a new attempt needs both, they are payable again at the applicable rates.

Eligible file-opening payments transfer, and an eligible replacement purchase search pack is provided, within the package conditions.
Benefits carry forward rather than refund costs already incurred. Other charges and the successful purchase’s legal fee remain separate.
The replacement pack covers local authority, water/drainage and environmental searches within six months of the original search order.
Covered file-opening protection runs for up to 14 years from initial instruction. It does not extend the separate search-replacement period.
A £75 re-verification charge applies where instructions lapse for more than six months. Other property-specific and incurred costs can apply.

The seasonal option, explained
moov Christmas provides priority handling towards 18 December 2026. In the purchase example, £360 of the £1,788.60 total is the Christmas supplement. If that date is missed for any reason, the supplement is waived in full.
The promise concerns the supplement. Searches, legal checks, lenders and the chain still determine whether your transaction can complete by the target date.
The instruction date secures the supplement rate. Rates increase after 16 October; request a current quote before choosing. One-hour setup requires working-day instruction by 4pm; later instructions are set up by 10am the next working day. Setup and search ordering are separate from search results and legal completion.
