onthemove Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines onthemove's (" we ", " our " or " the Company ") practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at www.onthemoov.co.uk (" Site "), or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: " Users ").
Grounds for data collection
Processing of your personal information (meaning, any information which may potentially allow your identification with reasonable means; hereinafter " Personal Information ") is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you and providing you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests and for compliance with legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we are subject.
This policy explains how we use personal information. Browsing this website does not give consent to optional advertising measurement. We request that permission separately through Cookie Preferences.
We encourage our Users to carefully read the Privacy Policy and use it to make informed decisions.
Measuring quotations and later payments
With your permission for advertising measurement, onthemoov uses Google Ads conversion measurement, including enhanced conversions, to understand which advertisements lead to quotation requests and paid instructions. This can connect your quotation with a payment you make later, including after returning by email or speaking to us by telephone. You can obtain a quotation and use our services without agreeing to this optional measurement.
For this purpose, we record your email address and, where provided, telephone number, a unique enquiry reference, the quotation date and type, your advertising-consent choices, and available Google advertising click identifiers. We keep this additional measurement record in a restricted Google Sheets file, using Google’s storage and processing services, accessible only to authorised staff. When we verify a payment, we may link its provider and transaction reference, date, amount and currency to your enquiry. This measurement record does not contain your card number or card security code.
When sending customer contact details to Google for matching, we convert them into a coded value using one-way hashing. Google can match these values with information collected at the quotation stage and relevant Google advertising interactions, including through signed-in Google accounts. We also send the available advertising identifiers and the quotation or payment event details needed for measurement. Hashing does not make these records anonymous. This helps us assess and improve our advertising. Read how Google uses enhanced-conversion data and how Google uses information from partner sites.
We rely on your consent for this optional advertising measurement. Merely browsing the website or accepting the terms needed to request a quotation does not give that consent. You can change advertising choices for your browser through Cookie Preferences. To withdraw permission for further use of an enquiry already saved for later-payment matching, email hello@onthemoov.co.uk with the email address used for the quotation. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal or your ability to use our services.
