Illustrations use one buyer, an existing property in England and a regular mortgage, including the quoted Plus discount. Leasehold examples include the listed legal work; landlord, managing-agent and any required building-safety charges are separate. See the full calculation and property assumptions.
Local price context: the highlighted bands contain the Hampshire median recorded sale prices for existing freehold (£395,000) and leasehold (£190,000) properties during January–June 2026. Choose the band for your purchase price; your property details determine the personalised quote.
Both packages include a fixed legal fee and no sale, no legal fee protection. Plus adds £120 to the matching total in these examples, including its quoted discount, priority searches and Upfront Payment Protection. Compare its setup and covered restart benefits under the package conditions.
These illustrative band totals use the verified package charges and HM Land Registry's registration bands. They assume an electronic transfer of the whole existing registered title. New leases, transfers of part and first registrations use different fees. The legal-fee schedule changes at £1 million, so these examples stop at £999,999.

One buyer, an existing registered property in England and a Barclays mortgage, without a gifted deposit or purchase scheme. The freehold example is a house; the leasehold example is a flat without high-rise or building-safety work selected. Registration assumes an electronic transfer of the whole existing registered title; new leases and transfers of part use different fees. Plus legal work is shown after the £120 discount applied when checked. Your personalised quote confirms current pricing, terms and any additional work for your property.
How we chose these Hampshire property prices
We calculated the median from 6,240 freehold and 1,323 leasehold recorded sales completed from 1 January to 30 June 2026 in the Hampshire administrative county, excluding Southampton and Portsmouth. The sample uses HM Land Registry Price Paid Data: existing properties, standard category A transactions and actual recorded freehold or leasehold tenure, excluding new builds and the Other property-type category. These tenure groups include more than just houses or flats.
The 2026 file was downloaded on 20 October 2026. The first half-year gives a more settled comparison period than the newest months, but late registrations and corrections can still change the figures. These are recorded sale prices for that period, rather than October valuations. HM Land Registry source · Coverage and definitions.

What are you choosing between?
moov Essential covers the core conveyancing service with a fixed legal fee and no sale, no legal fee protection. moov Plus adds same-day setup and Upfront Payment Protection for covered file-opening fee transfers and replacement purchase searches, within the protection periods.
Compare the complete purchase package prices and initial payments, then choose the service and protection that suit your move. The initial payment is part of the total, not an extra amount on top.
Plus setup and protection have timing conditions and exclusions. See what is covered if a purchase falls through and the full terms.
A quote that reflects the property you are buying
A flat or managed development
Give the leasehold status and any known lease length, service charges or major works. If you also own a share of the freehold, tell us: the flat can still have a lease. Flag any lender request for building-safety documents before you choose.
Leasehold quote detailsA house with estate or access arrangements
Tell us about known estate charges, private roads, shared access or extra land included in the sale. These details help the team confirm what the quoted work needs to cover.
Buying a house with onthemoovA new build or shared-ownership home
For a new build, give the developer and reservation deadline. For shared ownership, give both the full property value and the share you are buying, plus the housing provider and lender.
New-build quotes · Shared-ownership quotesIf the property has an auction deadline or an unusual title, call 03330 065 569 so the required work can be confirmed before you rely on a standard purchase quote.
Which searches does a Hampshire purchase need?
The full property address matters. Hampshire County Council supplies highways, rights-of-way and commons information for its 11 district areas; Southampton and Portsmouth have separate highways authorities. Your conveyancer identifies the right authority and search components for the address, rather than treating every Hampshire property as one council area.
A local land charges result and the wider local-authority enquiries are different components. Where a register has moved to HM Land Registry, the council still answers the wider enquiries, known as CON29. Compare the complete local, water and environmental pack in your quote, rather than one authority's individual fee.

Hampshire conveyancing quote questions
Where can I get a fixed-fee conveyancing quote in Hampshire?
Get a quote online with onthemoov using your transaction type, property price, tenure, address and mortgage lender. Compare fixed legal fee packages with the applicable VAT and listed costs, then choose when you are ready. Get a purchase quote or compare buying and selling.
Can you help if I am selling in Hampshire and buying elsewhere?
Yes. Use the combined quote route for a sale and purchase in England or Wales. Include the price and tenure of each property so you can compare both sides of the move together.
Does no sale, no fee cover searches if the purchase falls through?
No sale, no legal fee protection concerns the legal fee. Search costs and file-opening arrangements depend on your package. Plus includes replacement-search and file-transfer benefits within the stated periods; compare the protection and conditions before choosing.
Does a leasehold quote include every landlord or management charge?
Check the quoted legal work and listed costs, then ask which landlord, managing-agent, notice or consent charges remain to be confirmed. These third-party amounts can vary between buildings, so keep them alongside the personalised quote.
