What to expect after submitting your details and making your payment

Weekend submissions are counted from Monday.

Once we have your details and payment, we will:

  1. Contact the estate agent to provide them with your dedicated solicitor’s details so they can issue the sales memorandum. If you submit your mortgage broker details within your submission, we will also contact the mortgage broker to provide them the details they need to apply for the mortgage offer.
  2. Draft and send the Express Move Pack, the initial document you need to sign and complete to become legally prepared.
  3. Set up the legal file internally in readiness for your completed Express Move Pack and the sales memorandum from the estate agent.
  4. Order the property searches to prevent any added delays with the local council.
Target: within 2 to 3 business days of the date used for your timeline.

Please note: If we are required to complete your SDLT and AP1 submissions for you post-completion, there is an additional fee of one hundred pounds plus value-added tax to your purchase quotation. Also, if a Lawyer Checker search is required, this costs twenty-one pounds and sixty pence, and if a digital Property Report is generated, this is thirty pounds.
