Refer a Friend – Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility to Participate
- The Refer a Friend scheme (“the Scheme”) is open only to existing onthemoov clients who have completed full registration of a conveyancing instruction (“Referrers”).
- The friend being referred (“Referee”) must be a new client to onthemoov and not previously registered or instructed through us.
- Valid Referrals
- A referral will only be valid if the Referee proceeds to a paid conveyancing instruction with onthemoov.
- The Referee must provide the Referrer’s details at the time of their initial instruction. Retrospective claims are not permitted.
- Exclusions (No Cheating Rule)
- Referrals cannot be made between members of the same household, immediate family, or within the same transaction (e.g. a buyer and seller in the same chain).
- Self-referrals are not permitted (you cannot refer yourself under another name, email address, or account).
- Corporate or business referrals, bulk referrals, or referrals made via automated means are not valid.
- Reward Conditions
- Rewards will only be issued once the Referee’s conveyancing matter has reached exchange of contracts and payment has been received in full by onthemoov.
- If a transaction is cancelled, withdrawn, or refunded, no reward will be payable.
- Right to Refuse or Withhold
- onthemoov reserves the right to refuse, withhold, or withdraw rewards if, in its reasonable opinion, the Scheme is being abused or manipulated.
- Decisions by onthemoov in relation to eligibility are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- General
- The Scheme is offered at the sole discretion of onthemoov and may be amended or withdrawn at any time without notice.
- These terms apply in addition to onthemoov’s standard Terms and Conditions.
